Asia 2016 - Day 10 - Big in Japan
We have just arrived in Japan, our flight had some delay, and without a doubt I can say that immediately after landing the difference to Seoul/Korea was noticeable. I'm not sure how exactly but there was a difference in the Airport atmosphere.
I know the pilot's English is not the best as English is most likely not his mother tongue but he said and I quote:
There might be a problem with our flight so please keep your seat belts on.
I'm sure he was referring to mere turbulences and nobody else seemed to notice but still it worried me a bit.
Once landed we made it without any problems through immigration and customs though I had never a customs officer who lifted and fondled my suitcase except here. Yet the most peculiar thing was that he was bowing and apologizing. A manner that I got accustomed to in the mean time as Japanese do it ALL the time.
Anyhow we just missed the Airport shuttle to our Hotel and had to wait for about 20 minutes for the bus but arrived again without any hassle.
The only picture of today is then or first encounter once of those legendary Japanese toilets. Though this one seems to be a bit shy about features.

A minor hiccup is though that we did not bring any travel adapters for the electrical sockets for Japan. We did not need any as Mmmio house had sockets compatible with any plugs and it is an oversight from our side but how come that even the only issue is that the metal sticks on the plugs don't fit into the narrow holes of the socket, shouldn't there be a global standard?!
PS: Also check out some of the previous posts because I updated some photos.
